A 16-year-old ex-railway employee, identified as Baijnath, was reportedly beaten to death by His sons at Gadhi Mohalla in India last Sunday.

The Deceased, who happens to be a resident of Manjhanpur was killed by his two sons, Surendra and Virendra over property discourse.

The body of the retired railway employee has been sent to post - mortem to discover the course of his death.

Kaushambhi police have been interviewing the family members following the accusation made by the youngest brother, Narendra, pointing his two elder brothers and their wives for killing their father over possession disagreement.

Narendra reported that the accused, staying separately from the parents, detained their father on Sunday on his way home from the field carrying the fodder for cattle.

The two sons apparently took him to their house where the two flogged him grievously. 

On learning about the incident, Narendra and his mother Rita Devi, rushed to Surendra's house to rescue the father.

Narendra rushed him to a nearby hospital where the doctors confirmed him dead.

Ironically, the incident occurred the day the whole world was celebrating fathers' day. 

Baijnath retired from the railway in March this year.
