In an interview on KTN News on Friday, September 17, the musician divulged that he knew he wanted to be Lilian's friend immediately he set his eyes on her.

The musician praised her saying that she had clarity of mind, purpose, and self-respect.

"I met her early June, mid-June and I took my chances. I wanted her to be my friend. She has clarity of mind and purpose, value system, she respects herself and I have not met many women who are like that. I thank God," he stated.

Social media had been flooded with rumors that Lilian and Juliani were in a relationship, just days after she and the Machakos governor announced that they had disengaged.

They would later confirm saying that they were 'fully conscious adults who have chosen to be together.'

"I just want to be her friend; it is easy to get someone like her. If I get more from her, I will be happy," he added.

The 37-year-old affirmed that he had received threats from a person who quarreled with him for two minutes on phone.

He disclosed that he had made a report at Kilimani police station and had garnered information of his identity and where he lived.

Last month, Lilian announced her separation to the governor saying that the only constant thing in life is change and it needed to be embraced. She, therefore, stated that they had decided to end their nine-year-long relationship in June.

In a rejoinder, the governor stated that their separation was in anticipation and the two were not destined to be together.
