This has however spiked mixed reactions among the netizens who were irritated with the huge amount of money that the president issued to the family despite the Ex-US head of state Barack Obama being one of the family members.

According to most Kenyans on Twitter {KOT} they felt that the family was not in need of financial support.

Sara died on Monday 29th after a short illness while receiving treatment at Jaramogi Oginga Odinga Hospital in Kisumu, Siaya County.

She died at the age of 99.

Mama Sarah was supposed to be buried yesterday, according to the Islamic religion but that was not possible. Instead, she was laid to rest today at her home in Siaya.
Her burial was attended by top leaders in the country, with others sending in their warm messages of condolences including Former prime minister Raila Odinga, Kirinyaga Governor  Ann Waiguru, former vice president Kalonzo Musyoka amongst other leaders.

However, President Uhuru`s good act was not well received by Kenyans, and below are the comments and reactions.
