According to the graphical video contents making rounds on social media, the woman {Grace} can be seen hitting the domestic worker Berine Achieng with a 'blunt' machete threatening her that she will slash her.

Details posted by a concerned netizen on social media stated that the domestic worker had hung clothes to dry on their balcony since they are on the first floor and in the balcony hanging line, there is usually is a pipe that drains water from the balcony via a conduit.

Grace, the next-door neighbor, was enraged by the move, claiming that the dripping water could cause a dirty odor in her bedroom.

At that point, she started striking her neighbor's housemaid, claiming that she was well connected and that there was nothing she could do about it.

Grace chopped the maid's hand as she decided to seek security.

“We went to report to the police at Mambo Leo Police unfortunately Grace had gone earlier and reported us for abuse and trespassing on her compound”. Said Jane the employer.

When Achieng` and her employer decided to go and get a Kenya Police Medical Examination Form { P3} at Russia Hospital in Kisumu, they discovered that the perpetrator is the Head of Gender-based Violence {GBV}

“We are feeling unsafe and don't know what to do as P3 are only signed on Tuesdays 2 pm apparently” She added.

The bitter employer also stated that Grace is using her position to oppress the vulnerable and not protecting them.

“We are looking for justice for Bernie, someone supposed to protect the vulnerable using her position to oppress begs the question, where do we run to”.? Concluded Jane.

However, Grace's official profile picture at the USAID Portal reads “As a paralegal officer, I help survivors get justice. This year alone we have arrested 259 perpetrators and 84 of them have already been convicted and are currently in jail. We have seen a big difference as the community trusts us and the numbers of reported cases have more than tripled in the last year. We leave no stone unturned in our pursuit for justice.” Does she portrays who she is ?.
