David Alaba has completed the signing of a four-year contract until June 2026 from Bayern Munich.

The 28-year-old has signed a four-year deal at Santiago Bernabeu and will be officially joining his new club when his contract expires at Bayern on June 30th.

After passing Real Madrid’s medical, Alaba’s arrival will finally be announced by the club.

However, Manchester City, PSG, Liverpool, and Chelsea all showed interest in signing Alaba but the player had decided to move to Real Madrid.

Bayern Munich foreshadowed Alaba’s impending transfer by announcing the arrival of his replacement Dayot Upamecano from Leipzig in February.

With the signing of David Alaba, Real Madrid covers three positions in the squad, left-back, center-back, and holding midfielder.

Alaba managed to score 35 goals for Bayern Munich in his tenure with the team.
