Angry Residents Vow To Teach Their Governor A Full Lesson After Several Failed Attempts

A section of Bomet County in Rift Valley is currently fuming with their governor Dr. Hillary Barchok. These residents were angered by the lack of developmental projects across the country while the county government continues to receive funding from the national government. These residents took their cries to various regional media houses as they announced how messed their county is.

The group leader, identified as Mr. Mutai, claimed that the county residents have barely seen any developmental projects since the former tutor ascended to the throne. He singled out some of the projects started by the ousted first governor Mr. Isaac Ruto such as dispensary and some ECDEs centers left hanging since the current regime took over.

Besides development projects, the residents were also agitated because their county was ranked in the third position when it came to misusing the COVID-19 funds allocated to each county. As they were addressing a local media house, the angry members of the society pointed out that the only visible job that had been done when it comes to battling the COVID-19 pandemic is setting up an isolation tent in a place called Mogogosiek and distribution of masks to people mainly the bodaboda men in the towns. They called for their governor to answer their questions since they could not sit down anymore and act as if nothing is happening.
