Dinner Under the Caves

We all love new adventures and Ali Barbour’s happened to be my best adventure. Ali Barbour is a cave restaurant, and sure, it is located within a cave and in Kenya Kwale County of the coast. It's stunningly lovely. Part of me thinks you go there to soak up the atmosphere.

Ali Barbour's Cave is estimated to be somewhere between 120,000 and 180,000 years. It consists of a series of interlinking chambers at depths of up to 10m below ground level, located 30 kilometers south of Mombasa and 200 meters back from the high watermark.

My first time at the cave restaurant was heavenly, their seafood and their amazing cocktails were all I needed for that day.

The lit candles on the sides of my table made me feel super relaxed, it's a shame I was alone.

Dining while having a glimpse of the blue sky and stars above my head made me feel so excited and special. It is a feeling nothing can beat.

The ambiance in the restaurant is dope. The restaurant is stunning in its own right. The service was excellent. The level of service was excellent, and I had the best time of my life.

The cave is breathtaking, with excellent lighting and layout.  The cuisine was decent so it's a beautiful place I would highly recommend for lovebirds.

They pick you up and drop you off, which is very convenient. Arrive before sunset to catch a glimpse of the cave at night.
