Hazard who returned to Stamford Bridge for the first time since 2019 was seen laughing with his form teammate Kurt Zouma and Mendy after the match.

The Belgian reactions after the 2-0 loss against Chelsea saw Real fans take on social to show their frustrations with the player.

Hazard has since taken to his Instagram page to apologize to the Real Madrid fans saying it wasn’t his “intentions to offend them and that it is a dream” to play for the club.

Hazard said, “I am sorry. I have read a lot of opinions about me today and it wasn’t intended to offend Real Madrid fans.”

“It has always been my dream to play for Real Madrid and I came here to win, the season is not yet over, and together we must now battle for La Liga. Hala Madrid!” said Hazard’s post on Instagram.

However, Real Madrid’s fans were not only disappointed by his actions off the pitch but also his performance on the pitch.

Real Madrid's manager Zinedine Zidane feels Hazard should be given more playtime for him to improve on his performance.
