In a notice issued by the NMS Director General Major General Mohammed Badi, he said the test run will involve dropping and picking passengers between 4 pm and 8 pm.

Thereafter, normal PSV pick-up and drop-off operations will continue from the Nairobi Railway Station frontage until further notice.

As part of its city decongestion strategies, Nairobi Metropolitan Service seeks to construct a public service transport terminus for all Public Service Vehicles in a bid to restore order in the city.

According to NMS director Major General Badi, the process is now entering the transition phase of commissioning the terminal.

Nairobi Metropolitan Service (NMS) conducted a similar exercise last month where matatus from Ngong, Kibera, Rongai, and Dagoreti used the terminus to drop off the passengers in the morning hours.
