Search On For A Body Of A 15-Year-Old Boy Who Drowned In Migori River
The search of a class seven pupil from Nyangubo Primary school in Oruba, Migori county who drowned in River Migori on Sunday evening is expected to resume today.

According to Charles Ouma who is the area chief, the class seven pupil drowned into the river while on fishing expeditions with other of his peers.
Ouma indicated that earlier investigations indicated that the 15year old pupil was trying to pull a log from the water when he drowned.
The area chief further stated that the pupil’s peers and other members of the public tried to hold back the boy but their efforts did not bear any fruits.
Ouma has appealed to parents and guardians who live along the Migori river to bar their children from accessing the river.
The administrator has further stated that the river has claimed the lives of many children who swim in the river especially during rainy seasons.
