Ugandan Afrobeat artist and musician Jose Chameleone Has Been Hospitalized
Island Music Empire Boss and 2021 Kampala Lord Mayor Joseph Mayanja, alias Jose Chameleone has been admitted for the last 5 days at Nsambya Hospital where he is nursing a strange illness that hasn’t been revealed yet.

The photos shared on different social media platforms show the “Valu Valu” hitmaker lying on a hospital bed, seemingly in pain, with a cannula fixed on his arm.
Uganda’s Dembe FM reported on Sunday morning that Chameleone could be battling a sickness related to the liver and pancreas due to too much consumption of alcoholic drinks and spirits. Further reports indicate that has tried quitting taking alcohol and spirits. He apparently only drinks wine to distance himself from consuming alcoholic drinks.
His personal assistant Stuart Kagoro confirmed to Ugandan media that the singer is sick although he did not reveal in-depth details about the singer's suffering.
On Thursday night, Chameleone was rushed to Seguku Doctors Clinic after his situation worsened then discharged after a few hours at the hospital, upon his request.

Chameleone is currently being taken care of by his beloved mama while still attaining advanced medical attention on his sickbed.
