American Billionaire, Bill Gates Lands in Kenya
William Henry Gates III, an American business magnate, software developer, investor, author, and philanthropist, has arrived in Kenya and is expected to meet with several government officials during his tour.

The Microsoft co-founder will tour parts f the country including Makueni county where Governor Mutula Kilonzo will host him.
Gates is also set to meet with regional scientists, innovators as well as national and local leaders, partners, and grantees.
He will then visit and learn from farmers using digital tools to help with climate adaptation, as well as how primary healthcare clinics delivered care during the pandemic and helped address ongoing threats such as HIV, TB, and malaria.
On Thursday, November 17, Gates will also hold a discussion with university students at the University of Nairobi to learn and share perspectives on how innovative tools and approaches can bolster efforts to increase food security and support climate adaptation across Africa.

Bill and Melinda Gates have a foundation the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation that aims at supporting new innovations and ingenuity aimed at improving health, food security, and gender equality in African countries.
Bill Gates last visited Eldoret in 2009, when he was viewed as an ordinary mzungu touring Kenya to enjoy the country's beauty and serenity. Residents freely mingled with the Microsoft Company founder, unaware that he was the richest man on the planet at the time.
