BBI Appeal Hearing Day 4: Final Day of Submission

BBI opponents are seeking the Appeal court to uphold the judgment of the High Court which was made in May declaring the BBI Illegal, Null and void.

Christian Andole stated that constitutionally there is a clear delimitation on who the serikali and who the mwananchi is.

The BBI case at the Court of Appeal opened Monday with the government securing its first win after the judges struck out part of an appeal filed by Nairobi lawyer Charles Kanjama.

Court of Appeal president, Justice Daniel Musinga, appointed the seven-judge bench to hear and determine five appeals filed against the High Court ruling.

Justice Musinga will be the presiding judge on the bench that will determine the fate of President Uhuru Kenyatta's BBI.

The other judges are Justices Roselyne Nambuye, Hannah Okwengu, Patrick Kiage, Gatembu Kairu, Fatuma Sichale, and Francis Tuiyott.
