Sad as Five Family Members Razed down in Night Inferno
Asombre mood was experienced in Mashuuru, Kajiado County after Five family members were burnt beyond recognition on the night of Thursday, September 2.

The fire incident took the lives of a mother and her four children.
However, the police reports indicated that from the bodies retrieved there were four females and one male, even though they could not be recognized.
Further reports revealed that the County emergency response team didn’t arrive at the scene on time due to the distance and the poor condition of the road in the area.
On the other hand, efforts by the neighbors to put out the fire and save the family became fruitless.
Neighbors condemned the County Government of Kajiado for not taking fire crises seriously enough and urged Governor Joseph ole Lenku to fund and reorganize the fire department.
When officers arrived on the site, they announced that an inquiry into the cause of the incident had begun.
