Kalonzo, who spoke in his Kamba native said that Odinga had refused to sign the Azimio-OKA agreement and its not him (Kalonzo) who delayed the signing event at KICC as earlier stated by part of the media.

Kalonzo further added that Kitui County Governor Charity Ngilu had been frustrating his effort to join Azimio with the ODM party leader.

“I have read in the media that there was a delay because I was unwilling or something. The truth is, Raila had refused to sign, that was the problem. He had been incited by Kaluki (Ngilu) so that I do not get anything,” Musyoka stated

The wiper leader also sated that Raila would later show up late with the Kitui county boss.

They did not want anything to do with Azimio-OKA coalition because later Raila showed up with Kaluki.” Kalonzo added.

This comes at a time when Kalonzo has been facing pressure from the three Ukambani Governors to join the Azimio la Umoja coalition. The pressure was seen by many as an effort by the three governors to compete with Musyoka for the region’s kingpin position.
