JUST IN: Police Spokesperson Charles Owino Lands another Role
Police Spokesperson Charles Owino Wahong'o has been redeployed to another role in recent changes made by Inspector General of Police Hillary Mutyambai.

Owino was serving at the National Police Service(NPS)
Mr. Charles Owino will now be the deputy head of the Kenya National Focal Point on Small Arms and Light Weapons (KNFP).
The name of his predecessor is yet to be announced.
However, his transfer comes barely two months after he hinted at resigning in December so that he could pursue his Siaya gubernatorial dreams.
According to reports from close sources, his political ambitions fueled the transfer given that it is critical in protecting the image of the National Police Service.
Other investigations say Owino was sent on leave last month after declaring the interest, and that he resumed office on Monday.
