Mt Kenya Leaders Meets in Nyeri to Discuss Economic & Political Matters of the Region (Photos)
Mt Kenya leaders led by Murang'a County governor Mwangi Wa Iria and has on Saturday 12th June met in Nyeri to discuss among others the economic and political matters of the region

The planned meeting consists of elected leaders in the region and those aspiring for different political seats in Mt. Kenya.
The leaders are also set to discuss among others the power transition since President Kenyatta will be retiring from active politics.
Mwangi Wa Iria who is currently serving for his second term has already expressed interest to run for the country's top seat come 2022.
The meeting comes shortly after the coronation of National Assembly speaker Justin Muturi as the GEMA spokesman in a move that faced a lot of criticism from the region's leaders.
