Police Launches Probe Over Bombing Attack at Boniface Mwangi`s Home

Following an alleged bomb attack at activist Boniface Mwangi`s home in Lukenya Machakos county which he claimed was performed by Machakos County Governor Alfred Mutua`s goons, Police have now commenced investigations into the matter.

According to a police statement on Thursday 21st on Twitter, a case was submitted at Thika Police Station by one Isaac Ouma over the attack at Mwangi`s Lukenya home.

The police details revealed that the attack was planned by three unknown men in a white pickup vehicle.

The three individuals allegedly attacked the employees with firearms while attempting to place three detonators in the still-under-construction building.

“The attackers accosted the site workers, robbed them of personal effects, and assaulted the building still under construction with detonators causing three holes. Police have visited the scene and commenced investigations,” the report reads in part.

However, the authorities are now requesting that anyone with information on the incident contact the station.

Police`s statement comes at a time, Mwangi had posted on his Twitter account claiming that the Machakos boss Alfred Mutua was responsible for the alleged bomb attack.

He also added that he was being attacked for his position on the relationship saga involving Mutua, Juliani, and his ex-wife Lilian Nganga. 

Mwangi however posted on his Twitter account that he won’t cease from speaking the truth recalling the troubles he has been going through while speaking the truth.

“4 years ago, they shot me. Yesterday they bombed my family home. Everything l do and say is protected by the constitution. They can take away my everything but l will never stop speaking truth to power. I need your solidarity, demand answers from DCI and the IG”
