Details sourced by Bright Kenya news revealed that Njeri was expecting and she had vowed never to attend antenatal clinics because her faith could not allow her.

However her strong stand shocked her neighbors who thought she was joking and as days went by, they realized how serious she was hence forcing her to go for a medical checkup for the benefit of both her and her unborn child. The woman still gave them a deaf ear hence forcing her neighbors to look for another solution.

A woman from her neighborhood went to the hospital and reported the matter to Cecilia Wahiga, a medical officer. Cecilia wasted no time and arrived at the house of the deceased person with an ambulance to pick her up and transport her to the hospital.

She was accompanied by her husband, who was likewise opposed to her being treated in the hospital, claiming that it violated their religious beliefs. The two created a lot of drama at the hospital, forcing the physicians to let them go home. The ambulance driver was instructed to take them back home, and as soon as they arrived, she slumped and died.

However, the residences of Murang'a have been grieved by this occurrence, and they are now protesting the many forthcoming churches that are brainwashing the locals. Some of them requested the government to shut down all of the region's churches in order to protect others from being misled by such religious practices. Church leaders have been instructed to always tell their congregations to visit the hospital if they become ill.

Many people have complained about churches being used to pull them down, particularly when church officials are aware of your value. The majority of them have lost a significant amount of money to the local churches.
