DP Ruto Meets Rift Valley Leaders to Discuss the Region’s Political & Economic Model
Deputy President William Ruto today met with Rift valley leaders to discuss matters about the region's economic model and politics.

The meeting comes few days after President Uhuru Kenyatta toured the Nyanza region and launched several big projects making leaders from the Rift valley feel excluded.
The leaders from the rift feel like the president has sidelined the region in the terms of developments.
The region leaders believe they are experiencing this due to the frosty relationship between the two heads of state.
Some senior and church leaders from Rifty valley want DP and President Uhuru to amend their relationship.
CSs from the Rift Valley and the religious leaders sought ways of reconciling the two, but they never succeed.
In the recent past, DP Ruto has been holding meetings with his close allies from the Mt. Kenya region and the coastal region in a move to strengthen his political roots.
