“I’m not Your Boyfriend”- MP Aden Duale to Woman Rep Rozaah Buyu
On Thursday 7th October, GarissaTown Member of Parliament Aden Duale told Kisumu women's representative Rozaah Buyu in a parliamentary hearing that he isn't her fiance.

According to a local publication, Duale made an unkind remark as the Woman Representative continued to yell at him while he was speaking in the legislature.
"Those of us who are not from Northern Kenya, please don't become involved in party politics." He said, "Don't yell at me, I'm not your lover."
The provocative comments caused the routine processes in parliament to be disrupted for a few minutes while Buyu sought permission to speak about it.
"Madam Speaker, is the Honorable Member in order to say that I, Rozaah Buyu, desire him as a boyfriend?" questioned an enraged Buyu.
