Man Aged 20 Years Dies After Falling from A Balcony in A City Estate
The man identified as Gachui Karanja died at a house part in Riruta area, Nairobi

According to reports, Karanja slipped off from the apartment’s fifth floor and died on the spot.
The party was attended by eight people who say that they thought Karanja was talking on phone only to hear him scream and later a thud on the ground.
They rushed and on arrival on the ground, they found him lying on the ground inside a pool of blood.
After the incidence, they called the police who picked Karanja’s body and took it to the mortuary.
According to Nairobi police boss James Mugera, the young man could have been intoxicated by those who attended the party.
According to Mugera also, they interrogated the rest of the people at the party before carrying the deceased to the mortuary.
“We suspect he was intoxicated at the time he fell but we are also investigating to establish if there were other issues that led to this tragic incident,” Mugera said.
Those who knew Karanja described him as a young promising man who died too soon. Yesterday, his family conducted a requiem mass for his body at a church in Lavington.
Several incidences of accidents have been reported, for instance, in Mukuru slums where a 28-year old woman died on the spot after she slipped as she was crossing a railway line bridge.
