Appalling details have emerged regarding how slain criminal, Samuel Mugoh Muvota recruited over 50 beautiful women who were stationed in major cities to steal from revelers visiting popular entertainment venues.

The discoveries have revealed pieces in the man's dark past dating back to 2011 when Muvota began stealing from victims at ATMs in various banks and progressed to a full-time thug who hired beautiful, expensive-looking women and deployed them as drinks spiking agents at various high-end entertainment clubs.

Muvota, who led an ATM and SIM swapping syndicate that operated as a criminal syndicate organization, was a multimillionaire with several real estate properties scattered across the city, a fleet of vehicles, and seven wives.

The exposé revealed the lengths to which the women went in administering a drug to mentally ill patients at Mathare mental hospital.

The drug well known as 'Tamuu' in the Pishori world is classified into four types. Tamuu red, tamuu green, tamuu white, and tamuu blue which mainly was used by the group. The drug was given in different doses based on the individual's immunity. Men with high blood pressure would not awaken following the first dose they were given.

The group mostly targeted Switch in Kasarani, Whisky River on Kiambu Road, Red Lion in Ruaka, Oklahoma Choma Zone, Lacascada, Aroma, Backroom, Mkwanju, Dragon, and all the clubs on Kamiti Road from Roysambu, 44, and Zimmerman.

The ladies recruited would offer a man an energy drink if he was very careful with his drink, claiming that he was too drunk and not up to the task ahead. This would be followed by soft kisses that would knock the man out in minutes.

If the trick didn't work, they'd take a man (if he was single) to his house and make him coffee or scrambled eggs.
Muvota would redeploy clubs to a different town for cover after a successful harvest targeting clubs in one town.

Surprisingly, none of the men who reported being stunned remembered having been intimate with any of the women. Even if they were discovered wearing condoms in their vehicles, the damsels would do so to discourage the man from seeking assistance as soon as they awoke.

The ladies would even disappear with the victim's pair of trousers, giving them time to deliver the stolen items and drain the bank accounts.

To avoid suspicion, the well-briefed women ordered expensive liquor, convincing the male patrons at nearby tables that they were ordinary revelers quenching their thirsty throats. On the other hand, their bills would be sent to Muvota, who would clear them from his base of operations in Roysambu or Githurai 44.

Mugo's wife, Winnie Wambui claimed she had been married to Mugota for more than ten years before his death but had no idea what he did for a living.

“When we met, he told me that he was a former police officer. However, I never got to see any pictures of him in police uniform, or at his workstation,” Wambui revealed.

The couple lived in Kiambu County on Kenyatta Road, where he had built a house. He barely slept away from home, she added.

“He was secretive; I never knew any of his friends. However, he used to receive numerous calls from women. I couldn’t ask him who they were because he detested being questioned,” Wambui stated.

From the beginning of their marriage, Winnie revealed that his late husband never allowed her to call or even text him when he was away from home.

“From the word go, he set the rule that I should never call him when he was away from home. He used to say: ‘nikikutaka, nitakutafuta," Winnie revealed.
