‘We’ll Respond If Russia Uses Chemical Weapons’– Joe Biden
The president of the United State of America, Joe Biden has said that NATO will respond in the Russian war against Ukraine if Russia uses Chemical weapons

Speaking on his Europe Tour, the US president has said that NATO will respond if Russia decides to use chemical weapons on Ukraine.
“We would respond if he uses it. The nature of the response would depend on the nature of the use,” Biden said.
Biden was responding to a question where he had been asked whether NATO would respond to Russia if Vladimir Putin decides to use chemical weapons on Ukraine.
However, the head of state did not spell out the how the NATO would respond, he just said that it will respond.
Biden’s comments come at a time when an unprecedented day of emergency summits in Brussels, where western leaders showed a united front against Russia’s invasion on Ukraine.
President Biden will be expected to travel to Poland where more than two million Ukrainians have fled to.
On his part, UK prime minister Boris Johnson has said that it would be “catastrophic” if Putin uses chemical weapons.
NATO secretary General Jens Stoltenberg has however made it clear that if Putin tries to use chemical weapons it would result to severe consequences.
The Russian invasion to Ukraine has seen over 3 million people being displaced and many others being homeless.
The US and other humanitarian organization have been sending relief food and other necessities to the displaced people.
