A Woman Has Surrendered to Police in Kericho After Stabbing Boyfriend to Death.

The incident, that has caused shock and grief at the Kapsoit trading center in Ainamoi sub-county where the 24-year old woman killed his boyfriend after the deceased boyfriend hired a lady to manage his gambling machine.

According to area residents, the two who co-habit together have been having problems over the last week.

The area residents have said that the couple was staying together at a rented house at the local market and problems arose with the two after the boyfriend hired another woman to manage his lotto gambling machine which he had been managing.

Following the misunderstanding's escalation, the deceased walked up to his girlfriend's Chips shop to try to talk things out in the hopes of finding a solution.

The woman, however, allegedly grew furious and turned against the male, slashing him in the neck and chest with a kitchen knife she was using to peel potatoes, instantly killing him.

Area residents came to the rescue of the man who however succumbed to the injuries moments later.

After the awful incident, the woman fled, hopped on a boda-boda motorcycle that sped up into Ainamoi police station where she surrendered to authorities.

The body of the deceased was taken to the Kericho referral hospital mortuary by police personnel from the Kapsoit police station.

The woman is still in police custody waiting to be arraigned in court once investigations against her are completed.
