Am Rich, but still a hustler says William Ruto

The Deputy president started off the hustler narrative a while back and it has become his political slogan. Poor Kenyans were almost buying it whole until the controversy which led to revelation of properties under his name protected by the state. Many of them asking who is fooling who? Is the DP a hustler or just another dynasty in the making or another masquerader taking advantage of poor, ignorant Kenyans?

The King of the hustler nation declares that being an poor isn’t the definition of being a hustler. Ruto spoke after properties and businesses under him came into limelight amid controversy about his security detail. The hustler narrative has been received as gospel by most of the poor Kenyans who believe that the DP could the messiah in saving this country out of the wealthy dynasties.

It is undeniable that the DP had a humble beginning and he had to work his way around most of the barriers which confront all hustlers on a daily basis. Kenyan’s are now raising eyebrows whenever the DP declares himself an hustle with a multi-billion empire in his name. The million dollar question is; does the DP qualify to be a hustler?

In response to the concerns by a few who may start preaching against the gospel of hustler nation and a bottom up economic approach, Ruto says he understands the plight of the hustlers. Deputy president identifies himself as the only person with the interest of taking the war to the door steps of the tyrants who have been enjoying life on the first lane at the expense of poor Kenyans.
