BREAKING: Raila Rejects Chebukati`s Announcement as Null & Void
Raila Odinga, of Azimio la Umoja presidential candidate who recently lost to William Samoei Ruto of Kenya Kwanza, has refused to accept defeat terming Chebukati`s announcement as null and void.

On Tuesday, August 16, Raila spoke to the media at the Kenyatta International Convention Centre (KICC) and asserted that Wafula Chebukati, the chairperson of the Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission (IEBC), had broken the law by declaring the results of his own.
"We reject the presidential result that was announced yesterday"
Raila claimed that the IEBC did not have a quorum when it announced the result of the presidential election.
He continued by charging Chebukati with restricting access to the findings before making them public.
Raila also further urged his supporters to stay calm and maintain peace.
"Our supporters to maintain peace no one should take the law in their hands".
