The domestic worker, Milly Limo appeared before Principal Magistrate Ankoba Mogire, in an Eldoret court and rejected the charge.

The woman had threatened to kill her employer with a panga in retaliation for what she claimed as repeated harassment based on suspicion that she was having an affair with her husband, according to the court.

As per the prosecutors, on March 22, at Kapkatei estate in Turbo town Limo threatened to kill Caroline Chemutai.

According to court documents, she said to her boss in Swahili, "Nitakuua vile niliua mume wangu kisha nichukue huyu mzee wako ambaye unajidai naye" (I will kill you the way I killed my husband and will elope with your husband).

She was released on a Sh50,000 bond with a Sh50,000 surety or a Sh30,000 cash bail option. Her case will be mentioned on April 14.

On March 28, the seventeen Boda Boda riders arrested in Nairobi 21 days ago, along with Zachariah Nyaora Obadiah, identified as the mastermind in the diplomat attack case will get to know whether they will face charges or be released.

Zachariah has been detained for three more days to enable the DPP to determine his fate.
