Kalonzo Reveals His 2012-2022 MOU Agreement With Raila
Wiper leader Kalonzo Musyoka has today revealed to the media a Memorandum of Understanding agreement between him and the ODM party leader Raila Odinga.

During a press conference, the former vice president said that Odinga did not honor the MOU agreement. According to Kalonzo, Odinga had breached the agreement between them. The agreement stated that Odinga would support Kalonzo in his 2022 presidential bid whether or not NASA wins the 2017 general elections.
“This agreement will remain valid until the 2022 elections whether or not NASA wins the 2017 presidential elections”, part of the agreement stated.
The Wiper party leader further added that professor Makau mutually held the original document and he would present it incase of any disagreements. However, after professor Makau publicly announced to support Raila Odinga, he could not lead any talks between the two.
He nevertheless said that he was willing to sign a new coalition agreement with the former prime minister to form the Azimio-OKA grand coalition, adding that Odinga was his brother who they had fought for the democracy of the country.
Kalonzo also supported his request for president Uhuru a major role in the agreement saying that the president has a sense of authority.
“I ask President Uhuru Kenyatta to take leadership of the current round of negotiations. I think it is right and proper, considering he has a sense of authority.” Kalonzo said.
