Singer Violet Asale alias Zian Achana, spouse to KDF militant murdered recently at Kahawa Wendani has finally broken the silence.

The woman whom detectives are treating as the prime suspect stated how she never intended to kill her spouse. She recalled how her self-defense on that fateful night ended up with the man dead.

"He wasn’t stabbed and he doesn’t even have a stab wound. He fainted. During the scuffle, I freed myself and left him in the bedroom...," revealed Ms. Violet adding how the late attempted to strangle her.

It was a few minutes after she fled, that her husband (the deceased) came to her complaining of breathing difficulties. The woman further noted how the deceased was likely to even harm himself whenever angry.

Although, Asale's relatives who witnessed the argument have since given a different narration about the incident.

The relatives stated how they tried to intervene between her and her husband before Asale pushed the deceased against the wall causing him to collapse.

The slain officer had reportedly visited his wife at Kahawa Wendani to confirm reports that his wife had hired a studio in Roysambu.

The late reportedly suffered bite marks on his chest as well as injuries in his hands, while Asale also suffered shoulder injuries.

The corpse has since been moved to the Kenya Defense Forces Memorial Hospital funeral parlor pending pathology examination, while the suspect awaits court arraignment on April 6 (tomorrow).
