Sonko Discharged From Nairobi Hospital
On Friday, Former Nairobi Governor Mike Sonko was discharged from Nairobi Hospital where he has spent more than a month due to health issues.

Speaking on Friday, the former Governor’s lawyer John Khaniwa confirmed the news while addressing the reporters.
Sonko had been suffering from cardiovascular issues where in addition he also required hip replacement surgery.
The Ex-Nairobi Governor was released from custody on March 5th, 2021 after the court granted him Sh.1M Bond.
Sonko has been posting religious messages on his social media pages following the tribulations he has been facing in the recent past.
In one of the posts, Sonko said, "When you face challenges or go through difficulties, people write all sorts of things and gossip about you, but one thing for sure they don't own you, God does. When God sees all the writings and fabricated stories about you, He cleans you, sets a table for you, and blesses you in front of their eyes."
