Sticky Honey Garlic Chicken Wings Recipe

Ingredients

500g of chicken wings

1 tbsp minced ginger

6 cloves of minced garlic

10 tablespoons of honey

½ cup of freshly squeezed lemon juice

1 tbsp paprika

2 tbsp dark soy sauce

1 cup of corn flour

Black pepper

A handful of thinly chopped coriander

Chili flakes

Rosemary

Vegetable oil to deep fry

Procedure

Season the wings generously with salt and black pepper.

Add in the coriander, paprika, chili flakes, rosemary, soy sauce, lemon juice, honey, minced garlic, and ginger to marinate the wings

Mix and massage the marinade into the wings and cover then let it sit for about 2 hours or depending on how much time you have. The longer it seats, the more flavorful it becomes.

Remove the wings from the marinade and preserve the marinade to use in the sauce.

Roll the marinated wings in the corn flour until well coated then dust off the excess flour.

Heat enough oil for deep frying on medium heat and put some wings into the heated oil and let them cook until they're golden brown. Repeat until all the wings are fried.

Repeat the frying until the whole batch is done.

For the sauce, put some vegetable oil in a deep pan and add the minced crushed ginger and garlic.

Add in the preserved marinade, a tbsp of honey, and soy sauce then boil until the sauce thickens

Add chili flakes, and black pepper and taste the wings to ensure it is as preferred, you can adjust flavors accordingly.

Put the wings in the sauce, and stir so that they are well coated in the sauce.

Turn off the heat, allow the wings to cool if you want them to become stickier

Serve and enjoy.

You can sprinkle some sesame seeds on your wings.
