How CS Aisha Jumwa`s CV Reveals She Sat KCSE Exams 20 Years after KCPE
The former Malindi member of Parliament Aisha Jumwa Katana who was nominated by President William Ruto as the Ministry of Public Service, Gender and affirmative action is in the limelight again. This is after her Curriculum Vitae {CV} was leaked online.
According to Aisha Jumwa's CV, she began high school in 1991 but sat for KCSE from Nyali senior school 20 years later. She did a 1-year certificate course at JKUAT University.
The CS further became the counselor for Takaungu ward, Kilifi Town Council between 1997 to 2007.
Notably between 2002 to 2007, she retained theTakaungu ward, Kilifi Town Council position.
Additionally, between 2007 to 2013 she again retained the Takaungu ward councilor position.
Aisha Juma joined secondary school the year I was born and through God's grace, we sat for KCSE the same year.

Aisha was appointed as the Public Service, Gender & Affirmative Action Minister by president Uhuru Kenyatta, a move that saw Kenyans on Twitter reacting toward her appointment since she has an active court pending case.
For instance, in 2019, The Ex Malindi MP was facing murder charges in connection with the death of Gumbao Jola in Ganda, Malindi Constituency.
Gumbao was shot after a scuffle ensued during a by-election in Kilifi County that year.
Jumwa appeared before the Mombasa Law Courts in April 2022, when her bodyguard Geoffrey Otieno was charged with opening fire on a crowd and murdering one of the victims.
However, the two pled not guilty and rejected the accusations.
