Yano 53years is the youngest lawyer to be interviewed for the position.
She presented herself before the commission on Friday morning to face the panel of nine.
However, what prompted mixed reactions online was how she answered the questions was a clear indication that she wants prepared.
On several occasions, she paused after being asked hard questions and had to seek more time to confirm the answers.
"These JSC Commissioners shortlisted Alice Yano to embarrass her in the interviews. She's really struggling it's an eyesore. The Alliance guy even had to remind her that the answers she's looking for are in the constitution," Nation columnist Gabriel Oguda stated.
From the responses, one could tell that Yano was seriously struggling to understand the line of question or even provide substantial responses.
The CJ could then be forced to proceed from one issue to the other without any answers after noting that the candidate didn't have any worthy response.
