Police reports indicate that Nalem had left her home a week earlier with a panga and a walking stick headed to the forest. Her decomposing body was on Saturday found in the forest.

Police are looking into whether the woman was attacked by the wild animals that fed on some of her remains. They believe Elizabeth's body has been in the forest for more than a week.

The mother of six made news last year when she claimed that she was marrying the 'Holy Spirit.' She left her husband and children claiming that God would take care of them.

In an odd church wedding in West Pokot county, Nalem married the new love of her life. She later went on a honeymoon in Uganda to carry out her new duties.

Nalem had gone missing for a week before breaking the news, and when she returned, accompanied by her bridesmaid, she refused to sleep at home after her husband requested her bridesmaid leave.

Elizabeth claimed that God had sent her to preach the gospel, and that is why she shut down her hotel, fearing that it might conflict with her new duty.

She said that the Holy Spirit promised her a chopper to help her spread the gospel over the world.
