Police Shoots Nairobi Bodaboda Rider to Death after he Refused to Offer Bribe {VIDEO}
Chaos erupted in Nairobi`s busy Central Business District {CBD} on Saturday 25th after a police officer opened a live bullet on a bodaboda rider along Kirinyaga Road further causing his life.
Christine Juma It is believed that the police shot the rider after they disagreed over a bribe. The officer was in plain clothes when he demanded a bribe of Ksh50 after the rider allegedly disregarded a traffic rule.
The rider refused to pay the bribe offered by the cops, which resulted in a fight. The altercation became out of hand, and the police shot the rider. He passed away on the spot.
Starehe Member of Parliament Charles Njagua, also known as Jaguar, joined the enraged rioters in protesting the brutality at the Kamkunji Police Station.
